Facial Acupuncture
Your skin is your largest organ, and one of my favorite systems to treat. I love its inside-out nature, the way it reflects and responds to deeper patterns in the body. Facial acupuncture supports skin health both topically and internally. Rather than focusing only on the surface, we treat the skin as part of a larger ecosystem connected to hormones, digestion, stress, and other factors.

Facial acupuncture FAQs
What is facial acupuncture?
Facial acupuncture, also known as cosmetic acupuncture, is a holistic treatment that uses tiny, hair-thin needles on the face and body to support skin health, improve circulation, stimulate collagen production, and promote overall well-being. It’s a natural alternative to injectables that addresses the skin from the inside out.
How many sessions will I need?
Results vary, but for long-lasting benefits, a series of treatments is recommended—typically 8 to 10 sessions spaced weekly or bi-weekly. Maintenance sessions can follow based on your skin goals. One-time sessions are available for a skin boost or special occasion.
When will I see results?
Many people notice subtle improvements in tone, clarity, or relaxation after the first session. More visible changes like softened lines and improved texture tend to build over time with consistent treatments.
Does it hurt?
Most clients find facial acupuncture deeply relaxing. The needles are extremely fine, and while you may feel a brief sensation at insertion, discomfort is minimal. Many people fall asleep during treatment.
Are there any side effects?
Minor bruising or redness at needle sites is possible but rare. Most clients leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. We always discuss your health history to ensure treatment is safe and appropriate.
What happens during a facial acupuncture session?
Each session includes a brief check-in, followed by facial and body acupuncture. Depending on your needs, treatments may also include gua sha, facial cupping, or lifestyle and skincare recommendations. The first visit includes a full consultation and is 90 minutes. Follow-ups are typically 60 minutes.
Can facial acupuncture be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Facial acupuncture complements many skincare routines and professional treatments. It’s especially beneficial as a natural maintenance option between more intensive procedures, or as a stand-alone holistic approach to skin health.
